What vehicles can be wrapped?
Wrap film is recommended for new or reconditioned cars. Older vehicles with dents, scratches, rust or other damage may show through the wrap. In those cases we recommend body repair first. Our warranty covers vehicles with an excellent paint-to-substrate bond.
Can wrap film be applied wet?
No. MangoArts installs all wrap films dry. Avery Dennison and 3M films use air-release adhesive that does not require soap and water.
Can an adhesive primer be used on deep channels or contoured areas?
Yes, in rare cases such as complex curves or deep channels where primer improves adhesion.
What detergent should I use to clean my car wrap?
Use a mild car cleaning detergent with a pH between 5 and 9.
When should I clean my vehicle after getting it wrapped?
Do not wash the vehicle within the first 48 hours after installation. After that, wash about every two weeks.
Can I wax my vehicle if it has a car wrap?
Yes. Use matte-specific wax on matte finishes. For gloss and satin, any high-end wax is suitable.
Can I use a spray quick detailer on a car wrap?
Yes — use it as a drying aid after washing to help protect from UV and extend film life. For matte film, use a matte-only quick detailer.
How should I clean difficult spots on my car wrap?
Spot-clean contaminants quickly. Soak with warm soapy water, then wipe. If needed, use a 50/50 isopropyl alcohol mix. For stubborn stains, test an all-purpose cleaner on a hidden area first.
How do I store my wrapped vehicle?
Park in a garage or shaded area when possible. Sun, dew, rain and pollutants can damage the wrap on the hood, roof and boot. Use a cloth cover if covered parking is unavailable.
